As of writing I have a few more destinations to add from http://www.airchive.com/Timetables%20and%20Maps/TWA%20Compressed/TWmap8701.jpg - Including some that became TWE cities. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More details:

Domestic destinations prior to closure listed as TWA-operated include: From an October 29th, 1961 "complete system timetable": Fresno (flight 7: NY-Los Angeles-Fresno-Oakland-San Francisco); Albany, Binghamton, Scranton, Williamsport (flight 399: Boston-Albany-Binghamton-Scranton-Williamsport-Pittsburgh-Indianapolis); Terre Haute (flight 343 Indianapolis-Terre Haute-St. Louis); Allentown (flight 323 NY-Allentown-Harrisburg); Reading (flight 523 NY-Reading-Harrisburg) Fort Wayne, South Bend (flight 363 Dayton-Ft. Wayne-South Bend-Chicago O'Hare)

From March 1, 1947 timetable: Wheeling, WV (flight 319: Washington -Wheeling-Columbus-Dayton); Topeka (flight 201 “Sequoia”: Washington-Columbus-Dayton-Cincinnati-St. Louis-Kansas City-Topeka-Wichita etc.); Winslow, AZ and Amarillo, TX (flight 201 [continued]: Wichita-Amarillo-Albuquerque-Winslow-Phoenix-LA) Boulder City (flight 2 “Grand Canyon”: San Francisco-Oakland-Fresno-Los Angeles-Las Vegas-Boulder City-Albuquerque etc.)

From January 10, 1955 timetable: Santa Fe (flight 163 ….Amarillo-Santa Fe-Albuquerque…. etc)

From Jan 11 –Feb 28, 1982 & March 11-March 31, 1982 timetables: Rockford, IL (flight 373 ORD-Rockford xSa)

From June 1, 1986 timetable: Memphis (flight 317 Memphis-St. Louis daily[not TW Express] also in April 86 OAG w 72S eq)

Additional service to Albany appears in June, 1981 OAG NA pocket flight guide (flight 98 daily eff June 4, SFO-Pittsburgh-Albany w707 eq)

International/US territories destinations include Casablanca (served for 5 years 1975-79) [why was this removed from previous edits? Shown in numerous oags & timetables throughout this period]), Malaga (1975-79) Bahrain (new service appearing in March 1, 1977 system timetable [flight 830 from JFK via Geneva tue only, and at least one subsequent timetable (via Athens)]- service discontinued 1978); Kuwait: Oct 28, 1984 timetable (flight 882 JFK-Cairo-Kuwait 146 only – also July 1, 1985 timetable); Manzanillo, Mexico (listed in advance schedule - no confirmation); Terceira, Azores - one season only -June 7, 1979 timetable (flight 910: BOS-Terceira-Lisbon tu only); Oslo, Norway appears in oag pocket transatlantic edition from c1990 (not available to me at moment); St. Thomas & St. Croix appear in Sep 30 1985 timetable w service listed as effective Nov. 15. No further confirmation. Bermuda appears in new service announcement (link on internet)Stuttgart June 1, 1986 (flight 768 JFK-Munich-Stuttgart daily)

Erroneous listings: Budapest and Tehran. Budapest service, so far as I can tell, was only a partner service with the remark "operated by Malev" apearing in the schedule as an extension of JFK-Amsterdam) Tehran appears only on a deceptively depicted TWA route map from the late 50s/early 60s where the thin blue lines represent other airlines' service (this is made clear by the inclusion of numerous other cities, such as Kabul, Lahore, Delhi, Calcutta, Palembang, "Australia," and "South America," among many others, which were never TWA cities/continents, none of which appear in the schedule section of any timetables for those years.)
