Edit war

[edit]

The titles are going to be determined at No Surrender, in less than 30 days. Because the titles are less than 30 days away, this is not "too soon" to create an article. As for a reliable source, it was announced on Impact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3H9DVzpJIk&feature=related (look at the 1:40 mark). Can we please keep discussion on the discussion page instead of an edit war because one user doesn't agree that an article is necessary? LucyDoo (talk) 16:51, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe we mentioned anything of the sort on its necessity, however there was no article to speak of at the time of the redirections,so a redirection was necessary. AfroGold - Afkatk 15:02, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Overall this is a nice article. The shortness is to be expected given there's been only one championship team. I did fine two issues though:

  • "Sarita and Taylor Wilde are the current champions in their first reign;[1] they are also the first champions overall." True, but noting that they've been the only ones so far in the lead would be a nice addition.
  • "At 56 days, Sarita and Wilde's only reign is the longest in the title's history; since it is the only reign in the title's history it is also the shortest." For now I wouldn't put in the days change that would have to be changed daily.

These are more of a cosmetic change type than an actual issue, so I'll pass this article. Wizardman 17:12, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for passing.--WillC 21:15, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There should be more information on Eric Young

[edit]

It is rather unusual to see. At least a blurb that Sting put him in the match, or "first male to hold the belt" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.103.159.221 (talk) 05:43, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fired

[edit]

I think that we must to say that the titles were declared vacant because Kong and Wilde/Hamada were fired and the "no defense" rule is kayfabe. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 21:05, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Young/ODB's Reign is not recognized

[edit]

On the June 20, 2013 edition of Impact Wrestling, when Eric Young and ODB were stripped of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships by Brooke Hogan, Eric admitted that since he was a male, they were never technically champions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9HH9VrmvQ8 (told at 5:29) With that being said on national television, wouldn't that make Eric and ODB's reign unrecognized? --64.130.142.114 (talk) 06:08, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championship's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 09:45, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
