Rename

[edit]

I wonder whether 2017 T10 Cricket League should be renamed to 2017 T10 League. Or at least make 2017 T10 League a redirect? --Fcbcampnou (talk) 15:51, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Squads

[edit]

I have seen all the squads of all the teams of franchise leagues on Wikipedia before, makes sense that we have them here seeing as the teams might not be notable enough to have articles of their own, right? Someone maybe find a template to get this done? Be kind if so. SpongeRick Starpants (talk) 10:09, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Abu Dhabi T10

[edit]

T10 League is also known by this name, as seen on the official website. Reverting this mention is unjustified. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 21:12, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That name is for just for some seasons. The main name is still T10 League. Human (talk) 22:11, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Right, but the name "Abu Dhabi T10" is also used, and this needs to be noted in the article. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 22:28, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I believe this edit is justified, and will undo the revert once again. I invite all interested editors to comment below rather than starting an WP:EDITWAR. "Abu Dhabi T10" is a name used by this league, a look at ttensports.com will confirm that. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 20:34, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is this the name of it for sponsorship purposes? Consider the intro to the EFL Championship:
The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship reasons...)
Should we use parallel language here? —C.Fred (talk) 21:21, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The title I added is "Abu Dhabi T10" which appears to be most common on a Google search. I do note that there is also a sponsorized name of "Alubond Abu Dhabi T10 Powered by Sky247.net" which does not appear to be commonly used on other sources. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 21:46, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The anonymous id is suspicious. Are they a sockpuppet of a blocked user? How does they have extensive knowledge of Wiki without having an account? Does they do it to avoid discussions in their talk page? They also reported me for edit warring without knowing how the process works. Human (talk) 03:57, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've been editing for a long time, I just don't have an ID. My apologies for not following the edit war reporting procedure properly, this was the first time I've had to report somebody. I believe that the edits I've made are factual and well-cited, and having them instantly reverted with no apparent justification does not lead to a better article. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 04:11, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I have come across somewhere in the past. What is your reason to not have an ID? It is very difficult to talk with you without an user talk page. You can be suspected for sockpuppetry as they use different IP adresses to avoid being caught. Human (talk) 04:51, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

– While this tournament was once known simply as "T10 League", secondary sources [1] [2] [3] [4] have been using "Abu Dhabi T10" since the move from Sharjah. This also provides better disambiguation with Qatar T10 League. 162 etc. (talk) 06:09, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
