Refs for name change?
[edit]Hi all!
I'm not finding reliable references for the name change, but I'm betting Sydney to a brick that Cricket Australia will be be mightily embarassed by the name they have chosen. Did the marketing people not know that there was this thing called teh interwebs and that there are things called "search engines", pre-eminent among them Google?

Orphaned references in Sydney Thunder
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sydney Thunder's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "multiple_5":
- From Melbourne Stars: "Stars sign 4". Cricket Australia. Retrieved 18 July 2011.
- From Adelaide Strikers: "5 more players joins Strikers". Cricinfo. Retrieved 13 July 2011.
Reference named "multiple_2":
- From Melbourne Stars: Horan, Mike. "Tasmanian George Bailey signs for Melbourne Stars". Herald Sun. Retrieved 9 July 2011.
- From Hobart Hurricanes: Smith, Adam. "Big Bash import riddle". The Mercury. Retrieved 6 July 2011.
- From Perth Scorchers: Lewis, Ross. "Scorchers sign Collingwood". The West Australian. Retrieved 5 July 2011.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 19:12, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
