Chatterjee/Chattopadhyay

Okay, if I get this right, Chattopadhyay is her birth name and with the marriage to Tarum Kumar Chatterjee her name changed to Chatterjee. But we now do have a mismatch between the article title (Chattopadhyay) and the way her name is used in the article (Chatterjee). This should be fixed and I suggest to use as the article title the name form under which she is best known. Subrata or Subrota?

Sir, if you are a Bengali, then you would know that Mrs, Chatterjee's husband actor Tarun Kumar wrote her name spelling as 'Subrota'. Besides, in Bengali, Subrata refers to the names of male people. Thank you. Urmpjd (talk) 12:20, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Urmpjd: I am not a Bengali, and as this is the English language Wikipedia, few readers will be. We rely on information already found in reliable, published sources instead of our own personal knowledge of a subject.
