On 28 November 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Stéphane Richer (ice hockey forward) to Stéphane Richer. The result of the discussion was moved.

Renaming the articles

I'm proposing that the articles be renamed as follows:

Stephane Richer- becomes Stephane J.J. Richer (as in "Stephane Jean-Jacques Richer")
Stephane Richer (ice hockey defenceman) becomes Stephane J.G. Richer (as in "Stephane Jean-Gilles Richer").

I also think we need to establish the relationship between the two players, because- last I heard- they're actually distant cousins. -RomeW 00:36, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well I think a re-direct from just Stephane Richer should direct into Stephane J.J. Richer, because he is more notable. But other than that that sounds fine.
