Sri Lankan Australian not a term

Unclear uncited information
[edit]This sentence early in the page doesn't appear to make any sense - what are "ODeans", Google didn't find any detail on this term. What citation for early immigrants being "absorbed into the Indigenous population" , and what does absorbed mean in this context?
Early immigrants from Sri Lanka (at that time known as Ceylon) were generally (unlike the O'Deans) absorbed into the Aboriginal population. 49.199.152.122 (talk) 04:44, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
