How Old is SpongeBob

[edit]

Well he is 21 he'll turn 22 on July 14...

Beatlesnicole (talk) 16:42, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He doesn't exactly have an age. He's a cartoon character. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mamaluigibob (talkcontribs) 11:00, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Whoever started this page needs to fix the errors we fix.

[edit]

Goo Goo Gas has not even been aired. And there is more episodes than that................. Also episode numbers are unaccurate.

Goo Goo Gas' Airdate

[edit]

It Premired on March 23, 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.163.128.253 (talk) 23:33, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Every time I visit the episode guides the layout changes (sometimes for the better, sometimes fo the worse) and episode numbers get confused. Are we going with airing order, DVD release number or what? And what's the deal with not just having the episode number in the series eg 3-03 as well as Episode eg 57. Episode 57? What does that mean? Am I supposed to know off-by-heart how many episodes each series has and then deduct these from the episode number quoted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.99.104.119 (talk) 21:49, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Episode

[edit]

Where is the episode where SpongeBob's friends be mean to him, so then he leaves Bikini Bottom and enters a new city named New Kelp City. Where nobody is allowed to blow bubbles because of the anti-bubble blowing gang. Then SpongeBob's friends feel sorry. Then SpongeBob defeats the anti-bubble blowing gang and becomes the mayor of New Kelp City. When SpongeBob returns, Squidward puts his brain in the bin. Where is this episode? -Porchcrop (talk|contributions) 06:21, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What the...

[edit]

...heck?! How come in the Episodes section of this article, the episode summaries get their own sub-section at first, but after Breath of Fresh Squidward's sub-section's episode summary, there's no more episode sub-sections, but instead there's an episode table?! It's... so messed up!--YgoFan90 (talk) 20:51, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody is going to immediately respond; no one might even respond at all. Calm down. Mokoniki | talk 15:38, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, YOU responded. What do YOU have to say about my about the "What heck?!" comment I made?--YgoFan90 (talk) 16:57, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, it is quite confusing. The article either needs to be sub-sections or an episode table. I say we go with the article as sub-sections, considering that's how all the other SpongeBob Episode articles are except for 7. Which is strange as well. Mokoniki | talk 23:34, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's rubbish. You can do something about it though, if you're so het up.81.178.135.27 (talk) 12:22, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

'Detention. Good night.' Is that even necessary?

[edit]

How comes at the end of every description, it says 'Detention. Good Night.'? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.21.150.28 (talk) 20:18, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ratings not supported by references

[edit]

I reverted a couple of edits from @Nickelodeon-fan: here because a few checks through the references showed that many of the ratings being submitted did not match the references, or that the dates didn't match, or a combination of issues. For "Goo Goo Gas, July 19, 2009 was a Sunday, and 4.2 million viewers was reported by the user. The reference provided shows 4.158 million viewers, but for an episode that aired on a Monday. Other ratings just don't match. User reported "Le Big Switch" had 3.8 million viewers, but the episode appears to have aired September 29, 2007[1], yet this reference was provided for TV shows airing between August 27 and September 2, 2007. This is the rationale for my revert. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 10:09, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I already saw that before when I was working on that at my "article incubator". I don't know why I forgot to remove it. Anyway, it's removed now. Great work. Thanks. :) Mediran (tc) 11:43, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comments: The image check is where I'm going to start. We have not one, but three images that are included that are non-free. That's two too many under WP:NFCC and it says that since its just the box art, the two in the infobox should be replaced by the single image from further on down the page. This is mandatory at this point. I see no reason to include the large portraits of Bowie and Shalit, I'd gladly take one of the series writers over a guest star with a bit part. The live journal source I mentioned above, which doesn't go to the proper page is unreliable and should be removed. Though some of the sourcing is in triplicate so that's not such an issue here. I looked through the production cast and reception parts, and while I don't like the episode list being below reception, its the only real issue I could come up. The main issue is that all the episode lists are extremely short, TV guide-like one-liners that do not even have enough background or resolution to the episode. I mentioned this for the previous review and this one is just completely incomplete. As it stands, it is nearly no different that putting the "List of Episodes" block in. Given that these episodes will likely never need their own standalone article, or warrant it, I believe that three sentences or 50 words per half an episode isn't too much to ask for. I might be throwing a lot on your plate with this, but Dunces and Dragon's shows that a substantial amount can happen and that the introduction to the problem or event should logically go with its attempted resolution and end with the result or resolution. "After being late to work, SpongeBob moves into the Krusty Krab." is a statement that is just too short to really be useful. While "SpongeBob falls in love with a patty." might be only slightly better than "Patrick writes an annoying song." Pest of the West's plot shows that it doesn't need to be overly long as well. Other than these issues, it looks good. I'll place this on hold for fixes. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 18:42, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please give me an update when you are done. It's just been a week, but I see you are still working on this. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:25, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The issues are still unresolved, including the NFCC issue, and while the improvements on the episode details are much appreciated, I notice that the original episode air dates are not sourced and the Itunes source listed do not provide the details. I can pick this up again later, but I think I have to fail this for the time being. I'll leave it up for another two days or send me a message, I don't want to fail this when its reasonably close and the issues left are easily resolvable. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 16:38, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Chris! I think the issues are now resolved. Please check it out and if you see any further issues, please feel free to post it here. Thanks! Mediran (tc) 04:41, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Atlantis SquarePantis

[edit]

Even though it's an hour long movie, this one is not 2 production numbers, unlike Truth or Square and the upcoming SpongeBob's Birthday, according to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. Because of this now all the production numbers for the episodes after got shifted and are all wrong. Please fix this. Colgatepony234 (talk) 03:56, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
