The result of the proposal was move to Spaulding Square, Los Angeles. --RegentsPark (talk) 16:27, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Spaulding Square → Spaulding Square, Los Angeles, California Spaulding Square, Los Angeles
- Neighborhood naming convention mandates inclusion of city name. Purplebackpack89 (Notes Taken) (Locker) 20:01, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose Why add California to the title? Los Angeles is one of the cities in the United States where we don't add the state on Wikipedia. Support a move to Spaulding Square, Los Angeles. Skinsmoke (talk) 03:17, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
The reason I proposed it as I did is because the other neighborhoods go by that convention...Angelino Heights, Los Angeles, California; Bunker Hill, Los Angeles, California, West Adams, Los Angeles, California... Don't ask me why they all have California in the title; they just do. Purplebackpack89 (Notes Taken) (Locker) 04:36, 13 April 2010 (UTC)- Skinsmoke is right. I now support moving this to Spaulding Square, Los Angeles, and I also have called for dropping "California" from other neighborhoods in Los Angeles Purplebackpack89 (Notes Taken) (Locker) 02:07, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- And risk of confusion with "Spalding Square". Spalding is a town in the Fens in east England (I have been there). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:14, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
