Good to see you back at writing excellent articles. Just a few small points here:
- According to the MOS, there should be no hyphen in the common name of this species (WP:HYPHEN, point 3, 4th bullet)
- Nevertheless, it is hyphenated in all of the sources I've read. I believe the usage of "sparsely-spotted" as an adjective in this case falls under WP:HYPHEN: "A few words ending in -ly function as both adjectives and adverbs (a kindly-looking teacher; a kindly provided facility)". -- Yzx (talk) 19:57, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- Where do the eastern and western subpopulations occur? It may also be useful to indicate this in the distribution map.
- There's no information on where exactly the break lies between the subpopulations, and I don't believe it's been investigated. -- Yzx (talk) 19:57, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- "Females grow more slowly and to a larger ultimate size than males."—does this apply to both subpopulations or only to the western?
- Both. Note added. -- Yzx (talk) 19:57, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Let me know of further issues. -- Yzx (talk) 19:57, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks; I'll now pass the article. Ucucha 20:07, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
