The plot summary was completely misleading.

As it stood, the plot summary ended with the words "and now she can be Myrus' queen." Happy ever after? In fact, not. Because her status as queen of Myrus is also her death sentence. The film ends with Catherine's self-sacrifice and Cobra drifting through space again, as solitary as ever.
