Initial comments

• The lead is too short and does not summarise the article. Remember that it has to act as a "mini article" in order to meet the GA criteria
• "It's a member of the Fair Youth Sequence" - It is
• "in which The Poet expresses his love toward a young man" - who is The Poet?
• Synopsis is very short, unreferenced
• Context section is not detailed anywhere near enough compared to the other sonnet articles, an expansion of content and a copyedit can see this to better shape. Remember that there are tons of information out there online regarding the works of Shakespeare
• Poetic Structure: mostly unreferenced and jargon. Also doesn't explain what the table is, unlike Sonnet 86
• "In the 1640 text of Sonnet 72, the L is capitalized" - needs to be British English - America was not invented in the time of Shakespeare! Also put 'L' in quotes

I'm afraid I'm going to have to fail this. The nominator is not active and there are too many pressing concerns in order for this article to reach anywhere near the GA criteria. It needs an extensive expansion and a copyedit before it can do so. It is currently missing a lot of content. ☠ Jaguar ☠ 17:47, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
