الثلاجة الذكية ..

في أواخر 1990 و بداية عام 2000 كانت فكرة ربط الاجهزة المنزلية بالانترنت (انترنت الاشياء) لها شعبية و يُنظر لها على أنها شيء كبير ..

في يونيو 2000 اطلقت شركة LG أول ثلاجة ذكية مرتبطة بالانترنت في العالم بنظام تشغيل رقمي ، لكن هذه الثلاجة لم تلاقي نجاحاً و ذلك لأن المستهلكين وجدو انها منتج غير ضروري و ذو تكلفة عالية(اكثر من 20000$) .. فعلى سبيل المثال : يستخدم مع هذه الثلاجة أدراج الخضروات و عبوات المشروبات بحيث تكون شفافة لتتمكن الثلاجة من معرفة مقدار ما بداخلها فهذا أمر ضروري عند الشراء ، و اذا ماتم إزالة الباركود عن الاصناف سوف يكون من الصعب التعرف على هذه الاصناف، علاوة على ذلك للجهاز قدرة على تذكير أفراد الأسرة بالمشتريات حتى مع تعدد المشترين .
