Knock off

[edit]

Thought it was worth mentioning that this ride seems to be a knock off of the SkyLoop (pic). Once it gets a name and possibly some news sources, we could probably add a "similar rides" section and include Superman at SFDK as well. Themeparkgc  Talk  07:09, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Prose review

[edit]
Lead
  • "although none have yet to be built." --> "those have not been built yet"
History
  • "The world's first SkyLoop was Sky Wheel which opened in 2004 and is currently located at Skyline Park in Germany." --> "The world's first SkyLoop, Sky Whell, opened in 2004 and is currently located at Skyline Park in Germany."
  • "This model would continue to be the only model" --> Redundancy of "model".
  • "built to this day" --> change it with an specific date [e.g. "built as of March 2012"]
  • "none have been built to this day" --> Same recomendations as above, reword, add an specific date.
XT 150
  • "The train is then lowered..." --> "it is then lowered..."
  • "board the ride" --> I guess that "borad the train" is more accurate.
XT 450
  • "This model is an extension of the XT 150 as the beginning is the same." --> "of the XT 150; the beginning is the same."
I believe I have addressed the above concerns in this edit. Themeparkgc  Talk  22:59, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

General comments on broadness

[edit]
  • Is there any information about:
  • Who first designed the rolled coaster? [person or group]
  • Why the X-Coaster was closed? [Although I see it has its own article]
I've added a brief statement regarding X-Coaster's closure in this edit with an appropriate source. Themeparkgc  Talk  23:15, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think that the table does a good job, although I'd also like more information about each installation, but that's me being nit-picky.
What sort of information were you thinking of? Themeparkgc  Talk  23:15, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't exactly know. Don't pay attention to it, i'm just leaving some thoughts :P These comments are optional. — ΛΧΣ21 23:18, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Everything else seems to be good.
