Bletsoe House colour was maroon, not brown. Also there were 6 individual Houses in 1958 - 1963, when I attended Sinjuns. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.11.201.200 (talk) 14:59, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
Proposed deletion
[edit]I have proposed this article for deletion and I went there! As far as I can see this article is of no interest to anyone except former pupils of the school and as far as I know the school never produced a single former pupil of any notability. SmokeyTheCat •TALK• 22:08, 16 November 2009 (UTC) It was a rubbish school and is best forgotten. SmokeyTheCat •TALK• 22:09, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- High schools are considered notable and notability continues after closure. Apart from anything else the book meets WP:ORG. I would add that your last comment shows a clear COI. TerriersFan (talk) 04:23, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Keep the article. It is of use to anyone with an interest in the history of education in the London area. The quality of education provided there - and I'm aware that it was sometimes referred to as 'a grammar school in name only' - should not be a criterion for keeping or deleting. - Hmmm... isn't this the entryway pictured today during all the news articles about Prince George's first day of school? Darr247 (talk) 00:12, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
