Electrification
[edit]As i understand it some original form of electrification went from Liverpool Street to Shenfield, around the 1930s using (i think) 1500v DC. I've only found a handful of mentions of it eg (p11 of [1] ) and any more details would be appreciated (eg when it was replaced by 25Kv AC) --Pickle 15:10, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- It is mentioned here on p10 [2] (1959) that 1500v DC has been started in the early 1950s and when the rest of the Liverpool street system is electrified to 25Kv AC (adopted standard in 1954 BTC modernisation plan) the 1500v DC system will have to replaced. --Pickle 15:44, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Crossrail icon.png
[edit]Image:Crossrail icon.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Content dispute
[edit]I have applied one week's Full protection to this page because it is clear that there is a dispute over content which is not being resolved by discussion. This must stop. There is an open thread on this matter at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways#Routeboxes, June 2015 and hopefully we can arrive at a solution which suits all articles on British railway stations. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:02, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
- A continuing discussion is at User talk:TBM10#Your unnecessary edit changes! and partially also at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways#Routeboxes. --David Biddulph (talk) 15:00, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
Temporary TfL Rail closure
[edit]Is it really necessary to re-write all references to the TfL Rail service due to the current temporary closure between Brentwood and Shenfield? Same question for Brentwood. --TBM10 (talk) 19:41, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
- I would say not. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:24, 5 January 2017 (UTC)
Elizabeth line route
[edit]Elizabeth line services from Shenfield will not go beyond Paddington. The section west of Paddington will be served by trains from Abbey Wood only.--Redaktor (talk) 23:16, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
