Rough consensus that this town is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for its name, and that the "Shchekino" spelling is the WP:COMMONNAME by a large enough margin to override the recommendations of WP:RUS. Support per nom. This is a city of 60,000 and clearly the primary topic among numerous red-linked villages listed. The proposed transliteration is for an order of magnitude higher than the current one based on WP:RUS. No such user (talk) 12:53, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
