Reversion

[edit]

For a reason that I don't understand, El C reverted this article to a completely incorrect version.

I've changed it back (and added a minor edit to make it slightly more accurate).

El C, if you disagree, please post your reasons here before make any further changes to this article.

[edit]

An image used in this article, File:NGC 2359.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 3 December 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

The Deep Sky Field Guide to Uranometria 2000.0

[edit]

Perhaps interesting to know: in the third volume of the Uranometria 2000.0 sky atlas (The Deep Sky Field Guide to Uranometria 2000.0), there's a list of much more Sh2 objects than those mentioned in the article's list. It could be an interesting task to add those of Uranometria 2000.0 to the Wikipedia's list. Unfortunately, I'm not an expert of online images (only text).
