- First, someone needs to clean up the article! Especially since it needs wikification, rewording, references, and before all else, needs checking to see that it isn't just copyright violation, given that it has one reference.--Leahtwosaints (talk) 22:08, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
- The 1999 single I'm Gonna Get Ya! is by another Sharon Jones. According to Discogs she is a Singer from Detroit.
- According to the article the Soul Providers was originally released as Soul Tequila in 1996 featuring Sharon Jones on Switchblade and The Landlord.
- Sharon Jones appears in the 2013 film Queen City and performs on the soundtrack album the song Belle Fleuve.
