Disambiguation

[edit]

I'm kind of new at this, but would like to consider disambiguation of this article vs. the one at ShannonThomas. Any comments on this? I would be quite willing to take care of fixing the few links that point to this page.

Article issues

[edit]

This article is apparently sourced by "External links", the three that are not dead or missing in action, which does not follow Wikipedia policies and guidelines. In a two week period the subject was involved in four murders, and convicted of the murders of Roberto Rios (32), and two children Victor Roberto Rios (11), and Maria Elda Isbell Rios (10), according to one apparent primary source listed in the external links. There are serious concerns about the notability of the subject.

There are no inline citations, quotes that are not cited, and the statistics are:
  • 52nd murderer executed in U.S. in 2005
  • 996th murderer executed in U.S. since 1976
  • 19th murderer executed in Texas in 2005
  • 355th murderer executed in Texas since 1976.
If a statement from a murderer before his execution is presented (with a dead link), stating how much he loves his family, then if a source is reliable a quote should be presented stating "When you're at a murder scene looking at dead kids and there's Christmas presents around and you look at the TV and 'It's A Wonderful Life' is playing, it took me five years before I could watch that movie again," Baytown Detective Randy Rhodes said Tuesday. "For the rest of my life, Christmas is going to be associated with those kids. "I hope for his own sake and his own soul he's gotten straight with the Lord, but he's got a debt to pay and it's time to pay it.", to present balance. Otr500 (talk) 22:59, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Issue with info in Crimes

[edit]

There is a sentence at the end where it states that "Clay owned a white Cadillac CTS4 with tinted windows which he reported stolen after the murders.", there is nothing to verify this info and I don't think it's possible for Clay to have owned a CTS4 when the CTS4 debuted in 2019 and the time of the crime and investigation was in the early 90s (also, Clay was executed well before either the CTS or the CTS4 was built by Cadillac).

Does anyone have any sources that could give more context on that car part? Goooombah (talk) 19:21, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Goooombah: The original November 13, 2005, version of this page: [1] just said "Clay owned a white Cadillac with tinted windows which he reported stolen after the murders." So I've just removed the CTS4 part. Inexpiable (talk) 21:25, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
