[edit]An advertisement was placed in The Independent newspaper (Hawaii) on June 15th., 1895 on the newspaper's last print before merging with another newspaper. - I had the same thought. But based on the current references on the article I was able to confirm that Hartley founded the company and edited it to clarify that fact. DatraxMada (talk) 07:44, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
