This is literally "seed of Senna obtusifolia" the Chinese word too literally translated "seed" to "semen" ... obviously "seed" is more appropriate in English. Geckzilla (talk) 17:25, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- Chinese herbal remedies have "official" names in Latin (as well as Chinese); this is also the case for herbal remedies in western medicine (although we no longer really use herbal remedies). Semen cassiae is the correct Latin name. Plantdrew (talk) 21:15, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
