I'm trying to add a birth date (16 October 1991) and an image from the wiki commons. I was also hoping to enter my section on her performances. Mainly Glastonbury 2019 and highlight her costumes (Boots dress, selfie dress, self-esteem bra.) It keeps flagging all my edits at unconstructive so I will try again later. @President-Wiki-Man: You haven't provided an edit summary for this revert, so I don't know for what reason you don't want the first sentence to conform to MOS:TITLEABSENTBOLD. The point is the MOS specifies two things that are relevant here:

  • MOS:BOLDAVOID: "If the article's title does not lend itself to being used easily and naturally in the first sentence, the wording should not be distorted in an effort to include it. Instead, simply describe the subject in normal English, avoiding redundancy". This applies to the opening sentence for thgis article.
  • in that case, WP:TITLEABSENTBOLD applies: "do not apply the bold style to related text that does appear".

Can you self-revert or explain? DeCausa (talk) 07:43, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@DeCausa: If you look at other articles such as Drake and Pink those do not conform to MOS:TITLEABSENTBOLD. I do not understand why you want the name to be bolded like almost every other singer article. President-Wiki-Man (talk) 14:14, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
