Who is really the Author?
[edit]A lot of newer scientific sources have show that a lot of medrashim and other jewish texts who were identified as "askenazic" are in real from a Romaniote origin (see S. Bowman, Byzantine Jews). I have found different sources which show that the Sefer HaYashar of Zerahiah the Greek and Rabbeinu Tam is one work and the authorship belongs to Zerahiah the Greek. I think this is a scientific but surely not a traditional jewish view. I have found some sources to this topic, my quick search brought me to this work, but I know there are more: Jewish Ethics and Jewish Mysticism in Sefer Ha-Yashar, Shimon Shokek, Edwin Mellen Press, 1991 Informationskampagne (talk) 19:09, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
