This article may be too technical for most readers to understand.(September 2010) |
There seem to be a few inconsistencies in the introductory definition. I'll try to edit out some superfluous info from that section as well Zujua (talk) 04:45, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Primary growth redirects here...
[edit]Yes, primary growth redirects to this article, but (apart from a few words in the lead) isn't discussed; the redirect boldly says that primary makes no sense except wrt secondary - let's just beg to differ. The two solutions that spring to mind are a) to have a new article on primary growth, all apical meristems etc; or b) to rename this article and edit it to cover both (sounds daft but it needed saying). I suggest we do (a), reclaiming the redirect. Chiswick Chap (talk) 16:26, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Chiswick Chap. I just created the article on primary growth. At the present time, it is stub-like. I am a gardener who is interested in botany, but the article would benefit from more expert inputs. If you are still on WP (after almost 9 years!), could you take a look at it and improve it? Contributions welcome! Dr Dobeaucoup (talk) 15:10, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
Discuss how secondary growth has been taken advantage of to improve plants and general human welfare.
