[edit]I have just created this page (it's my first wiki page) so feel free to leave a comment or suggestion. Thanks--Morda Statca 22:08, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit]I don't seam to be able to bring the web site up anymore are they of line now
Original ariticle is good but more updates may be called for. Website is on line and seaside radio is due to launch with a 5 year licence at some point during summer 2007. Video killed the radiostar 11:33, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- with reference to the website, they changed from a .net or .org address to a .co.uk address. Hullonian (talk) 15:08, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]There seems to be a bit of an ego thing going on with this page at the moment. It needs to be watched closely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.50.189.179 (talk) 16:45, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Noticed that too. Its always the case with these dam presenters though! 195.195.236.131 (talk) 14:43, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't think that there's an ego problem with the Seaside FM page at all, well certainatly not at the moment. I'll keep my eyes peeled though. Hullonian (talk) 15:05, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Takeover
[edit]I have removed a paragraph detailing a "takeover" of the station, with the old presenters being "locked out".
This seems inconsistent with information published by Ofcom, such as:
http://licensing.ofcom.org.uk/radio-broadcast-licensing/monthly-updates/update0912
Which details no transfer of the licence (which can only occur under special circumstances with the approval of Ofcom, details of which would be published by them.)
Anyone with local knowledge and reference sources would be useful here.

I have today removed a paragraph noting apparent 'takeover' and disgruntled presenters. There wasn't any references provided, it also appeared to be not-neutral.
I've no problem with this article having verifiable facts included about change of management etc. However the bit I have removed seems to be more a case of the organisations "office politics" spilling out into a public forum. Wikipedia is not such a forum. Philedmondsuk (talk) 10:30, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Changes
[edit]- [[File:Seaside FM logo.png]] is not needed .. "Seaside FM logo.png is fine
- We shouldn't use ampersands (&) and we shouldn't capitalise everything,
- We don't include station schedules or presenters either,
Other than that the rest of the changes are fine, If anyone reverts again I'll have entire article protected so no one can edit it, Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 23:35, 12 December 2016 (UTC)
- But how come all other stations have schedules and list of presenters on them Drleonnorman (talk) 06:48, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
- Drleonnorman - This is being phased out gradually due to sourcing issues as well as per WP:NOTTVGUIDE (although this is not a TV it still counts), Because there's well over 5 thousand radio articles it's impossible to remove them from all and it certainly doesn't help when editors like you ad them back!,
- Presenters/schedules aside you don't need to capitalise everything either,
- But everything from "105.3 Seaside FM is based within the Sou"[1] (use ctrl + F) is fine except: Programming, News, Weather, Interviews, The Guide, Star Goddess Janet, Advertisements.
- And it should go without saying once unblocked if you revert you'll be blocked for longer!, Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 13:40, 13 December 2016 (UTC)`
