Article neutrality

[edit]

The article has a weird feeling when reading, slightly propagandistic and bloated. Does anyone else agree? I reworded a couple of passages making claims as if they were facts but I'm not sure how I would have to go about to rework the whole article into a more neutral stance as it's usual for most Wiki articles on political parties. Anyone up for the task?

Why do people keep changing it to far right?

[edit]

It's basically a protest anti-establishment populist vote, It's not to the right of Vox and they talk about immigration much less than Vox does. Alvise himself associated with the UK LibDems for a while, which is obviously not a far right party. 80.102.106.180 (talk) 16:22, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think the same, the party's proposals are not far-right. Is clearly not to the right of Vox. I do not why media says that. The party's position has to change to right-wing.[1] Hidolo (talk) 14:12, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A party whose messianic leader has overtly stated his intention to build a giant prison to incarcerate someone democratically elected like Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez without trial[1] should be considered extremist at the very least.
If Vox, which is more respectful of democratic channels than SALF, is already considered as a far-right party, SALF should also be considered as such. HelpMeFire (talk) 01:00, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Having divisive, anti-democratic rhetoric is not exclusively the domain of the radical far-right, just the radical anti-establishment, which, though it often overlaps in this day and age, ii is not the same thing. JustAPoliticsNerd (talk) 15:42, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Call SALF anti-democratic is an exaggeration and it is incorrect. Hidolo (talk) 16:14, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Though they are not opposed to democracy, saying things like that they should build a giant prison to incarcerate the prime minister does not, well, hold up democratic norms very well, let's just say. JustAPoliticsNerd (talk) 16:45, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No it is not. But regarding the first issue, SALF is not a "far-right" or an "alt-right" party. Simple. It is not an ultraconservative neither ultranationalist party. It is only a hard anti-sistem party. And who in their right mind believes that SALF is to the right of VOX, unsustainable. Hidolo (talk) 22:03, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, I would say, reliable sources use "far-right" very liberally in this day and age. They do also use "anti-system" a lot, though, which might be the best representation of their political position, though an unusual one. Put it to a vote, if you want.
