Deletion vs. Renaming

This article does not seem to meet criteria for Notability. Perhaps it should be either deleted or moved to the generic name "poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)."

Medical treatments that gain FDA approval are notable. A page move to the scientific name wouldn't be out of order, but leaving the redirect for the brand name is proper. Un focused 06:38, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On the main page it states, "PLLA is primarily used by dermatologists as a volume filler for lipoatrophy of cheeks in thin fit women or men who have lost facial fat." Being a thin fit woman or man is irrelevant. Some people are thin and fit with full faces and some people are fat and unfit with gaunt faces. Sculptra is for people that have lost volume in their faces due to any number of reasons, such as wasting from HIV medications, the general ageing process, environmental damage, etc.
