[edit]I'll review this one over the next few days. --Coemgenus (talk) 13:59, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
- Lede
One general question: is the head of the Scottish Labour Party the head of both the MPs and the MSPs, or is it two separate jobs? Seems like the former, but it's not immediately clear to a non-UK reader.- I've added a sentence to the lede that should hopefully clarify the situation.
- Resignations
"Lamont's resignation as Labour leader was reported by media outlets on the evening of 24 October 2014..." Instead of writing about her resignation being reported, why not write about the resignation, itself? Readers are interested in the thing that happened, not the fact that such-and-such newspaper reported it.--Coemgenus (talk) 16:54, 3 July 2015 (UTC)- Changed to "Lamont announced her resignation in an interview with the Daily Record on 24 October 2014, and confirmed it was her intention to step down immediately."
- Declarations
In a similar vein, "...Sarah Boyack became the first person to confirm that she would be standing as a candidate for party leader." could probably be better as "...Sarah Boyack became the first person to announce her candidacy for party leader."- Done.
- Jim Murphy
"... he pledged to create a national centre for excellence..." Is that a term that has a particular meaning in in Britain? It sounds kind of vague to me.- a Center of excellence is basically a facility or team that provides leadership and training in a specific area, such as healthcare or teaching. Would it make sense to change it to something like "he pledged to create a facility to promote best teaching practice"? This is basically what the source seems to be driving at.
- The change you made is fine.

The other two had opinions on Trident. Did Murphy say anything about it?- Although he'd previously spoken in support of the topic, a quick Google search suggests he stayed quiet on the matter during the campaign (which I find strange when it seems to have been such an important issue). However, this Guardian piece written on the day he was announced as leader confirms his support for Trident. I'll add it to his section.
- Neil Findlay
"Findlay called for the creation of "clear red water" between Scottish Labour and the SNP." Not sure what that means.- Someone else added that, but I din't know what it means either, so I took it out.

On the map in the "Outcome and aftermath" section, there's a color for "did not vote" but I can't see it used anywhere. Is it?- Not sure what to do here. This didn't seem to make any difference. Any thoughts? This is Paul (talk) 16:10, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
- I think I've fixed it. --Coemgenus (talk) 13:52, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, seems to be ok now, thanks. This is Paul (talk) 14:07, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for taking this one on, I should be able to fix most things, although the map may present one or two problems. I'll take a look though. My understanding is that they all voted, so did not vote wouldn't apply, but I'll check. This is Paul (talk) 14:46, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
That looks like everything, so I'm happy to promote. Nice article! --Coemgenus (talk) 13:52, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
