Spiritually loaded self-advertisement

[edit]

The whole article reads like a mix of pompous self-advertising and baseless esoteric woo. Examples:

"Though there are no scientific proofs that such kind of communication between humans and marine mammals has ever happened, 'science has already shown dolphins communicate holographically and, taking into account the latest scientific research, it looks like prove of telepathic communication with dolphins is within reach'."

Not only does this bold claim certainly require some reference, it also displays a stark misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the actual scientific insights into dolphin communication. Huckabay's claims of a telepathic connection to dolphins are not supported in any form by current scientific literature and to imply otherwise is unworthy of this encyclopedia.

"In 1999, Huckabay performed at various ancient sites in Egypt and found a harmonic and spiritual affinity with an ancient site called Dendera Temple complex that resonated with musical frequencies."

"Harmonic and spiritual affinity" is a meaningless construct of spiritually loaded words. It is unclear what this is supposed to mean. "Musical frequencies" in this context is meaningless. The frequency range of musical notes extends in principle over the whole audible range of acoustic frequencies. "Resonated" in this context is likewise meaningless. It is doubtful that the site showed acoustic resonance to Huckabay's guitar playing. No special acoustic properties are reported for the Dendera Temple.

"Huckabay had been living on a secluded beach when the massive Hurricane Iniki hit the island during a full moon on September 11, 1992."

Why is the moon phase important? It is not even mentioned on the Hurricane Iniki page.

"Scott tunes his guitar intuitively to one of the Solfeggio frequencies in order to connect to higher and deeper energies associated with these profoundly auspicious frequencies, which are known to resonate health, harmony and balance."

The statement that Huckabay tunes his guitar "intuitively" to a specific frequency is paradoxical and bears no relevance to the article. The second part of this obscure sentence is a meaningless construct of spiritually loaded buzzwords with no basis in scientific research or even the defined meaning of these words.

"Scott has created over 300 alternate guitar tunings."

A pompous and baseless claim. Claiming ownership over any arrangement of six individual notes is dubious, but unless Huckabay used a different guitar tuning in every single one of his published songs, his discography does not support this claim.
