I have also read her book - anybody who wants to understand the ME and Iran needs to read it. I am also from Berlin, but now in Australia, Ally Hauptmann-Gurski 58.174.193.2 (talk) 04:31, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Many years an editor movedSattareh Farman Farmaian to Sattareh Farmanfarmaian. I ran across her Daughter of Persia book today and was puzzled as to why the article is at Farmanfarmaian. The author is credited as "Sattareh Farman Farmaian" in the book. The Cataloging in Publication data on the copyright page uses "Farman-Farmaian, Sattareh". It appears that "Farman Farmaian" and "Farman-Farmaian" are far more common than "Farmanfarmaian". For example, iran-times.com uses "Farman-Farmaian".[1] I'm thinking of moving the article back to Sattareh Farman Farmaian and am seeing if there's consensus for that. --Marc Kupper|talk06:35, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
