English Wikipedia has two articles on this town: Santa Teresa Di Gallura and Santa Teresa Gallura. The contents should be merged, but which name should be kept as the name of the article? I'd be grateful for any advice as both names seem to be in use. Google has more hits for the former; the Sardinian government seems to use both names (search on http://www.regione.sardegna.it/index.html). However, all the other Wikipedia articles in other languages use Santa Teresa Gallura, not Santa Teresa Di Gallura, and it's for consistency with them that I propose keeping the article Santa Teresa Gallura and merging the contents of Santa Teresa Di Gallura into it. Please let me know if you disagree. Felix116 16:12, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Felix, I don know the town, but if you look at this page (which is a site of the regional government of Sardinia) you will find the writing without "Di" (nonsense) or "di". So I totally agree with you that these should be merged into Santa Teresa Gallura.--Trifi 20:26, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- BTW "Santa Teresa di Gallura" is a pretty common alternative spelling. Redirect has to be preserved. -- Basilicofresco (msg) 12:14, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
