Santa Crestina or Santa Cristina ?
[edit]There seems to be no end to that discussion--Moroderen (talk) 10:51, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- There should be no discussion anymore: all recent documents by the commune of S.Cristina use the version with "i" lately. Official letter-head was switched in 2007 from "S.Crestina" to "S.Cristina". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sajoch (talk • contribs) 09:47, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
A reasearch on prominent ladin webpages shows:
- Union di Ladins de Gherdëina (ulg.it) uses exclusively CrIstina, but never CrEstina
- Noeles.info also uses only CrIstina
- La Usc (lauscdiladins.com) uses 1168 times CrIstina and only 15 times CrEstina
Therefore I request the move from "Santa Crestina Gherdëina" to "Santa Cristina Gherdëina"--Sajoch (talk) 13:17, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
Both names are should be named, but S. Crestina must be in first place. Most official documents use this version:
- Homepage of the municipality http://www.comune.santacristina.bz.it/system/web/default.aspx?sprache=4
- http://data.gvcc.net/AlboPretorioOnline/?gemeinde=085&lang=DE Public journal of the municipality (several documents, e.g. 16th of August: http://data.gvcc.net/pdf/085/ALTRO/2010/D683E800-E956-CE90-FDDA-79B316FD1967.pdf)
- Region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol http://www.regione.taa.it/bu/2006/S2150601.pdf#Page=70
- Traffic signs .
Therefore: Undid move by Sajoch, added S. Cristina in second place according to his sources--Patavium (talk) 12:53, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, but most official documents and literature use the i-version (as shown above). The i-version is ethymologically correct too. Also the latest road-signs use the i-version. See images below (and discussion on the german version of this page).--Sajoch (talk) 21:50, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
