Sandcastles (Beyoncé song) → Sandcastles (song) – Latter redirects to the album article. Doesn't seem to be any other notable song named "Sandcastles". – TheKaphox T 13:23, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Steel1943 (talk) 14:25, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- The album Paradise, Hawaiian Style (album) has a song titled "Sand Castles". In fact, Sand Castles currently redirects there. Steel1943 (talk) 14:25, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support per consensus if Presley's song doesn't have an article and WP:DIFFCAPS doesn't apply. Sandcastles (song) is already redirecting to Beyoncé anyway. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 04:28, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. This song was only released this year, and didn't chart in the top ten anywhere. There are fifteen similarly named songs listed at the DAB, all by notable artists and likely to be search terms from time to time. Far too soon to claim this is the primary topic of Sandcastles (song), which should point to the DAB for now. Andrewa (talk) 02:32, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support per Tbhotch, and per WP:SONGDAB:
unless more than one article[2] about songs of the same name exist, there is no need to disambiguate any further.
. SSTflyer 12:05, 25 October 2016 (UTC) - Support. This isn't a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC issue, as this is clearly not the primary topic of "Sandcastles"; it's an issue of what to use as disambiguation. Per WP:SONGDAB and the the RFC this summer, and various other RMs since, there's a very clear consensus on Wikipedia that the artist's name shouldn't be included if there are no other articles on songs of that title.--Cúchullain t/c 15:57, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
