Samuel Danks Waddy also went to Wesley College; he was the first pupil to be registered. Samuel Dousland Waddy was not the Headmaster but was instrumental in the founding of Wesley College and served as Governor (1844-62). [Source: King Ted's by John Cornwell]

There is also a Donald Campbell Waddy (1910-2004; google obliges), educated at King Edward VII School, who might well be a descendant of Samuel Danks Waddy.
