The picture is not of Salvo but the sign as you come into Rodanthe..it should be removed Lonepilgrim007 (talk) 02:13, 29 May 2013 (UTC) So I removed it..also the post office was never destroyed..it is still there..it`s just not a post office any more..Sandy was just another of numerous ocean storms that have hit the area over the years...Salvo was never even close to being destroyed although it was a bad storm..I was told there was about 10 feet of water in the area and it was bad but the article implies the entire village was was wiped out which it was not so I changed it..as usual there is a lot of misinformation regarding the Outer Banks circulating..it`s always been that way and I guess it always will..I will continue to check these articles for accuracy however I am not an historian and it would be nice if someone better qualified than me would do it.
