Spelling
[edit]The cheese is spelled "Cheddar", not "Chedder". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.180.70.130 (talk) 20:40, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- I fixed it. Thanks for pointing that out. Eatcacti (talk) 20:50, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Name
[edit]According to a CW interview, Saleisha's last name is Stowers, not Cooper (I would change it except I'm not sure of the spelling) 12.202.55.143 (talk) 11:43, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Do you have a link? Eatcacti (talk) 11:47, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Nevermind, I found it: [1], if anyone else is interested. Since we don't know how to spell it for sure (though I expect Stowers is correct) we should wait until something comes out to move it. I'm sure a few news articles will come out today. Eatcacti (talk)- I moved the article. This interview given on New York's CW affiliate has her name as Stowers. There's also a New York Post article out now with Stowers. Controversy
[edit]I must wonder who holds these actions to be controversial. To me, being in a Wendy's commercial is much different than modeling. That would be like saying Snoopy is a model because he's in the MetLife commercials. Actors can be models, and models can be actors, but being one does not automatically make you the other. - Did you see the commercial? She's certainly not there for her acting skills. Regardless, I think the entire Controversy section should just be deleted for now. There are no sources (I've looked for some and all I can find is blogs) and it sounds completely weasely. Some people complaining on blogs doesn't count as a controversy. People would be complaining on blogs regardless. I think this has the potential to become a huge controversy but it just doesn't seem like it's getting that much attention right now. Of course, it's only been a few days since the finale so things might come up soon. Eatcacti (talk) 02:56, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'd cite E! Online, but they took a rather neutral tone, and with a "controversy" section, that's going to bring a billion people out of the woodwork who hate Saleisha and then they'll just chop it to bits and quote Wikipedia and go "LOOK EVEN WIKI HATES TOOTIE CARPARTS." It's already happened on TWoP and I am just so sick of it. Mike H. Celebrating three years of being hotter than Paris 06:55, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
I don't understand some of the arbitrary stuff being added to this page. I thought the point of contention was 1) The Wendy's Spot since it was run nationally, and 2) her past appearances on the Tyra Show, and ANTM since that might have been a conflict of interest. I am pretty sure that Saleisha modeling wigs for an obscure company is not part of it. Neither is her appearing for like half a second in a video (does anyone know if that is even her??) I left the Ugly Betty thing in although, again, not as a controversial thing, but as part of her career. Anyway, I think some people are taking this wayyy too far. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenontheshore (talk • contribs) 08:23, 21 December 2007 (UTC) but,the thing is that they cant rerun the show or otherwise the show could be cancelled altogether due to this scandel.Tricky.
Fair use rationale for Image:Saleishas.jpg
[edit]Image:Saleishas.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
