SDSU Transit Center (MTS Transit Center) → SDSU Transit Center – SDSU Transit Center currently redirects here, hence "SDSU Transit Center" is unambiguous and the disambiguation provided by "(MTS Transit Center)" is completely superfluous. Cybercobra (talk) 22:54, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose - Without the suffix, though, does anybody really known what "SDSU" truly is. I already know that it stands for San Diego State University, despite having no ties to and no contact with the west coast whatsoever, but somebody else might assume it has something to do with South Dakota State University or someplace else with similar acronyms. ----DanTD (talk) 02:28, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- The acronym "MTS" is no more transparent or disambiguatory to those unfamiliar with the area. And we need only disambiguate between extant articles; there's no evidence a South Dakota SU transit center (or similarly confusable entity) exists, much less merits an article. Except in the case of some national government agencies, I am unaware of any area where Wikipedia preemptively disambiguates. --Cybercobra (talk) 03:01, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- Support, the suffix gives absolutely no clue to the uninitiated as to what or where this place is, so if that's its purpose, it's failing badly. But of course we don't need to provide such information in article titles anyway - when the plain name of the place is unambiguous, we just use it.--Kotniski (talk) 10:56, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- Support. The current disambiguation is completely pointless, being both unnecessary and uninformative. The apparently undiscussed move that added it should be reversed. Andrewa (talk) 13:59, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Leon Williams
[edit]On June 29th, this station was dedicated in honor of Leon Williams. Is it possible if that info could be added, possibly under the "History" heading? You can read the dedication story here AkiStuart (talk) 02:38, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
