[edit]I chanced upon this page while editing another subject and, as the company was known to me, I decided to tackle the mutliple issues identified in the headnote: particularly its notability and advertising tone. I checked the references, established its notability (and removed broken links), and took out one section where I couldn't quickly find verification. I have also removed, I hope, the advertising tone. Reviewing the early history of the article, it does appear to have been created and extensively edited by someone (User:Jomo76) with a strong association with the company (WP:COI); they should refrain from further editing if this is the case. The result of the move request was: Closing. This RM appears to have been abandoned in favor of the below one suggesting a move to Lucas (contractor). Cúchullain t/c 19:22, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
S. Lucas → Lucas – The company's name has changed from S.Lucas to Lucas. The company is widely known in the industry as Lucas Company change after management buyout Jomo76 (talk) 18:48, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- Is there any evidence that this is the primary topic for the term Lucas because if not it would need to be changed to something lime Lucas (contractor) or Lucas (company).--76.65.43.125 (talk) 19:28, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- It is not the primary topic - as a surname and given name, the current Lucas article links to multiple instances of its use elsewhere. The company's registered name (at Companies House) is still S. Lucas, so the requested name change is a reflection of its branding, not its legal name. Paul W (talk) 20:07, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose (company) it clearly isn't the most likely company on Lucas (disambiguation). And S Lucas Group appears to still be the official name in the above link supplied by IP. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:16, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose because there is no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "Lucas". —MRD2014 Talk • Edits 00:50, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

S. Lucas → Lucas (contractor) – Given the disambiguation I propose changing the name to Lucas (contractor) Jomo76 (talk) 07:27, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- Support. Seems fine; the name has changed, and this is a contractor, so...--Cúchullain t/c 19:22, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
