Life details
[edit]Roy Shaw was a Sherman tank driver in WW2, as everybody who came across him was told sooner or later. He also had a bit of a comeback as deputy leader of the Camden Labour Group in the early 1990s, as I recall. Local newspapers from the time of his retirement and death in 2006-7 would cover his life story, no doubt, if somebody wants to look them up. He was a popular and well-respected figure by then, across party lines.Paulturtle (talk) 18:52, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
Aha very true. I have never heard a bad word said about him but wanted to keep it factual. Is it "notable" for Wikipedia's purposes that Camden Council named one of its main offices after him? Fosse1884 (talk) 00:57, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
