Rosie Roker was Al Roker's first cousin, once removed
[edit]The article indicates Al Roker was a cousin to Roxie Roker. But this should be changed to first cousin, once removed. Al Roker's article indicates paternal first cousin, once removed. 2600:1012:B16A:D4E3:9161:F24F:47B9:25D9 (talk) 17:17, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
- The article currently says second-cousin once removed, but the sourcing is inadequate. It links to a "happy talk" clip on the Today Show where Al says he doesn't know, but he is going with it.
- Lenny says their grandfathers were cousins, at best this makes Al and Lenny THIRD cousins. I can't find any confirmation they have been proven (identifying a common ancestor, or a DNA test) to be cousins at all, just that they have agreed they "must be" based on having grandfathers with the same last name from the same country.
