[edit]For people who understand Dutch, more information can be found in NRC 16 Feb. 2007 or in the Dutch Wikipedia, or http://www.parlement.com/9291000/biof/03154. This homo universalis was clearly already very notable before he was proposed as a minister. Andries 08:02, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- The webpage http://www.parlement.com/9291000/biof/03154. made a mistake in the date of the NRC article. It should be 16 Feb. Not 15 Feb. Andries 08:19, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Scientific bibliography is extremely long
[edit]Google scholar with author "RHA Plasterk" lists 178 works. What are his most important works? Andries 18:50, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Dutch equivalent of Meet the Press?
[edit]It does not explain much because Wikipedia has an international reader audience. I dunno Meet the press. May be we could simply write what Buitenhof is w/o comparisons with foreign talk show like meet the press. Andries (talk) 19:47, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Alma mater
[edit]He studied biology at Leiden University, and also got his PhD from that uni. Yet his alma mater is listed as the University of Amsterdam. As far as I know he only got a propedeutic exam in Economics from that uni.Stefan Kruithof (talk) 16:07, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.
The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.
Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 21:08, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

Does not describe the basics of his scientific career. For example, PhD dissertation is missing. Andries 10:26, 24 February 2007 (UTC) |
