We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. These pages are not platforms for political discussion. Issues relating to Cornish politics should be restricted to those pages that directly deal with these issues (such as Constitutional status of Cornwall, Cornish nationalism, etc) and should not overflow into other articles.

I don't think that "The Earl is now living with Beryl Cottrell a former bar maid in his pub 'The Edgcumbe Arms' who is from Millbrook" can be correct.Royalcourtier (talk) 08:02, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the section about various members of the family "sign[ing] the heir apparent rights over"; there's no such thing. This seems to be based on a misreading of the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe article, which lists the heir presumptive, the heir presumptive's heir presumptive, and the heir presumptive's heir presumptive's heir apparent. Douglas Edgcumbe is his father's "heir apparent," not heir apparent to the Mount Edgcumbe title. Gothamscholar (talk) 05:26, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
