Road and supper merge
[edit]- Support making the supper a sub-article of the appearance, since the appearance has two parts, road then supper. History2007 (talk) 07:02, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

- No I think the merger is eventually inevitable, but it will not make sense to have teh tile of supper, because the road appearance includes the supper. Here is teh prototype of the merged page. merged prototype History2007 (talk) 17:52, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

- I don't have very strong views on merging the subjects, but I think the art and the theology (if any) should be kept together, whether in one article or two. Johnbod (talk) 12:44, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- If you have no strong views, and given that there are no other comments, I beefed up the merged version with more artistic text and images, and in a day or so will make that the public version unless you have further comments. You can edit that merged version for artistic content anyway. History2007 (talk) 12:20, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Support, with Road to Emmaus as the final title. The merged version will have to be edited (some material from artistic renditions should be moved to biblical account), but I think it looks fine. That sort of merging is the way to go. Good work! StAnselm (talk) 13:24, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, and now that you are here, please feel free to edit the merged version, so we just get it right and move on to the next episode. On that note, please see the discussion on Talk:On the Road to Emmaus about titles and redirects anyway. Thanks. History2007 (talk) 13:29, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

why these authorities?
[edit]This article reads like a 3rd year essay. Why these authorities? --142.163.195.48 (talk) 13:49, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
