– "Risk factor" is a broad concept and it is not clear that the use in epidemiology is the primary topic. Move the disambiguation page to the base name and tag as Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:06, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
{{dabprimary}}
- Commment: If "risk factor" is a broad concept, it should not be a disambiguation page at all, but should be an article on the general concept of "factors" enhancing "risk". I would propose creating that article as a draft before moving anything. bd2412 T 14:02, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- I echo User:BD2412's comment; either create a WP:CONCEPTDAB or leave everything as is. — AjaxSmack 03:27, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

- Striking those words doesn't change the fact that there is clearly a broad concept underlying this phrase, and that it should be created before anything is moved. bd2412 T 11:27, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
- Ditto. Whether you strike the line or not, there still exists a broad definition of "risk factor", If there is not to be a CONCEPTDAB article that introduces that concept, then...

- ...Oppose per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. By far, the most common use of "risk factor" is in epidemiology as is reflected in Google Web and Books results. — AjaxSmack 16:08, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Unsolicited move 15 July 2024
[edit](Apologies I made my edits before checking the above discussion. However, in spirit of WP:BOLD and my following reasoning, I am making this comment rather than reverting my edits.)
Given that for the above move request, the not move consensus was reached around opposition to Risk factor (disambiguation) → Risk factor per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:CONCEPTDAB - in particular, the reasoning was not so much opposed to Risk factor → Risk factor (epidemiology) (sorry if I misinterpreted) - I added that disambiguator (and a redirect from the ambiguous title, with a {R with possibilities} to imply a potential future unifying article).
