Rewrite Needed
[edit]This page needs expanding and rewriting. I am not medically knowledgable enough to do so, but based on other sources, e.g. http://www.wisegeekhealth.com/what-causes-a-retroperitoneal-hematoma.htm it is obvious that, for example, one of the main causes is blunt trauma to the lower abdomen. - Hi Jpedant! Since your comment, referenced information on traffic collisions and falls has been added. I hope this is helpful! Bibeyjj (talk) 14:15, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- As a medical doctor I have to agree with the first poster. Not only is this page short, but to suggest MRI as first imaging modality over a CT in a trauma situation is medically dangerous. I suspect a summary of Oh's Intensive Care Manual would go wonders to make it less incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.172.96.178 (talk) 11:25, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
