Images and tables...

[edit]

I see a ton of white space because the tables don't start until the image columns end. Is there a way to stack the tables, or add the images as a table column, to avoid the white space? @Drown Soda: Do you have the same issue? Asking since you recently expanded this page. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:00, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Another Believer: Are you viewing it on a mobile device? I was worried this could happen—I think it's an issue of whatever browser a user is viewing with not having enough space to accommodate the table width and the image. It looks normal on my browser and there is still some room to give between them—do you know if there is a function to use that automatically adjusts the table width to accommodate space for images? --Drown Soda (talk) 17:09, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Drown Soda, Using Safari on laptop. I'm not even sure where to ask for help about this... @Jonesey95: Pinging in case you have ideas (?) -- thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:11, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Another Believer: I am also using Safari on a laptop (13-inch MacBook Pro, to be specific). I know if you drag the browser window size it will automatically adjust, but how it appears depends on the window size; I always keep my browser window at maximum size (covering the screen from end-to-end), so maybe this is why it doesn't push the images up for me? --Drown Soda (talk) 17:29, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Drown Soda, Yeah, I guess I was wondering if there's a solution that avoids having to maximize browser window. Some sort of stack feature. Let's see if Jonesey has any ideas. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:32, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Drown Soda, See this diff. Thanks, User:Jonesey95! ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:22, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I set up the Northeast section using a layout table to wrap the image and the table. It's not the best for accessibility, I hear, but it works. I suspect that there is some way to use CSS styles and "float" to make the table stay to the left, taking up all of the available space except for what is needed for a thumbnail (which can vary in size based on the reader's preference), but I was unable to figure it out. Maybe trolling through similar pages would yield an answer. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:32, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List?

[edit]

Shouldn’t this article be a list instead of a start class article? Roasted (talk) 01:40, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
