The result of the move request was: Consensus was reached to move Redding (Amtrak station) to Redding station (California). No consensus was reached on what to do with Redding (Metro-North station), so it will not be moved. In veritas (talk) 01:20, 11 March 2016 (UTC)(non-admin closure)
- Redding (Amtrak station) → Redding station (California)
- Redding (Metro-North station) → Redding station (Connecticut)
– Per WP:USSTATION. No clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Redding station; phonetically it might well be Reading railway station. Mackensen (talk) 18:17, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support the first move (and, phonetically, this one is pronounced "Red-ing" not "Read-ing"). I'm currently undecided on the second RM... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 06:34, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
- @IJBall: FYI. Reading in England is pronounced "Red-ing". Secondarywaltz (talk) 17:59, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- So is the one in Pennsylvania, for that matter.

- Support per WP:USSTATION.--Cúchullain t/c 17:26, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support Redding (Amtrak station) → Redding station (California) per USSTATION; weak oppose Redding (Metro-North station) → Redding station (Connecticut) for now because WP:NYCPT station naming convention may still apply (which is also why only two of the Metro-North stations have been moved yet). epicgenius (talk) 18:30, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
- It says on that page that commuter rail follows TWP, which would be the USSTATION guideline I would think. Mackensen (talk) 03:33, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
- That's true. However, we may need to consult with other wikiprojects, too, if they have conflicting policies. epicgenius (talk) 14:27, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

- Support both per WP:USSTATION. --Scott Alter (talk) 03:29, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support the first, ambivalent on the second, as this might be a case where system is a better disambiguator than state, Redding station (Metro-North) would be better. oknazevad (talk) 17:05, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
