I recommend merging this article to Government_College_University#Notable_alumni. This article is redundant and inferior to that section. that section has problems, but better to put redundant problems together. Note also that there is a different listing of Ravians at Category:Ravians. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 14:23, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • The important matter has been addressed -- the inappropriate initial close of the AfD by Causa to "delete" has been overturned by unanimous consent at the AFD's deletion review to "keep". As to what to do now, I don't have a problem with combining the two, on the basis of the points made. But why not move that section into this list? That would, given the size of the two combined, seem to be in keeping with what we do with lists of alumni that are this size. As to there being a different listing at the category, that is true and is the case with nearly all alumni lists across the project.--Epeefleche (talk) 17:40, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. An overwhelming "overturn to keep" result in deletion review has obviated the merge argument. Agree with User:Epeefleche that material should be moved to this pagespace, not the other direction. This page should also be moved to List of Ravians, because it's a list-class article. BusterD (talk) 23:24, 19 July 2011 (UTC) I've taken the liberty of moving as described. BusterD (talk) 23:25, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note. Discussion is taking place on the target page's talkspace. BusterD (talk) 23:24, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
