[edit]What is this thing, a campaign ad?
NPOV marker
[edit]I added the NPOV marker because Babyboy1 deleted a negative paragraph and added a bunch of praiseful paragraphs. (I left the praiseful paragraphs and restored the negative paragraph, so that at least there's currently a halfway-complete picture, but both sides need to be toned down significantly and sectioned off.) Ruakh 05:34, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- I should mention that most of the praiseful paragraphs should ultimately be cut; I just left them all in there because I didn't have time yet to figure out what of them is wheat and what chaff. Ruakh 05:36, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- This article definitely read like a campaign leaflet when the tag was added. However, most of the puffery is now gone. There is still some POV, though the direction seems to shift from paragraph to paragraph - like it sometimes does on Wikipedia. In light of all the changes since the tag was added, I thought it was time to remove the tag. However, please put it back if you disagree.Qball6 03:46, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
The Main Problem
[edit]The entire article, except for the first two paragraphs, were copied and pasted off of Randy's bio on his house.gov site. [1] I think all of the non-factual information (from the copied sections) should be deleted, or at least edited to be neutral. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mac35 (talk • contribs) .
- Definitely. Care to undertake that? Ruakh 22:21, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'd be glad to do some editing to it, I've been planing on making a few additions anyway. Mac35
American Religious History Week, H. Res. 888
[edit]This article could include information on the controversy surrounding H. Res. 888, introduced by Forbes, which included 'affirmations' of questionable and false pro-religion interpretations of American history. See discussion at http://www.talk2action.org/story/2008/1/4/24725/53989, for example.
